This is a snapshot I took when I was seventeen of my girlfriend Elaine Calenda and her friend Sharon Weinstein on the corner of Christopher Street & West Street in 1977. I found this snap in my photo album from 1977. Elaine and Sharon crossed the street and took my camera to take a picture of me because I was in a suit (published in an earlier posting).

Carl Friedrich Oelhaf was my great grandfather! It’s so cool to see this preserved on the web. Sadly, we closed the family business when all the ship repair moved across the river to New Jersey.
