There are several layers on this wall of what I call pentimentos (see Fading Ad Vocabulary). On the right, perhaps I see a saxophone or brass instrument. On the lower left, perhaps I see the word GAS. I can’t make out the manufacturer of the “builder of hats.” Any clues? What do you see?
