I remember as a teenager dancing at Keller’s on hot summer nights in the mid 1970s.

During the Koch Administration, city contracted businesses had to sign a “non-discrimination” clause which included gays and lesbians. The Salvation Army refused based on religious beliefs. Koch told them they weren’t the only service org in town and if I remember correctly he fired them. I haven’t donated a single thread to them since. HOUSING WORKS gets all of my donations. Down with religious dogma.
