Today I found my great grandmother all over the Internet on Pinterest originating in an online exhibition on the history of Amsterdam as told through documents. Thanks to a distant cousin in Friesland, Jelle Rietsma, I was able to trace my maternal lineage to the 1700s. My paternal lineage is less clear but perhaps this will also become more evident in the near future.<\/p>\n
