Wm. & Margaret Stage Launch “The Painted Ad Blog.”

BUY THE BOOK! © Wm. Stage

Wm. Stage, author of Ghost Signs: Brick Wall Signs in America [1989], has launched his blog The Painted Ad with his daughter Margaret. I met Mr. Stage in St. Louis back in 1999 while crossing the U.S. on a photo-expedition. Over the years we have maintained correspondence and he was kind enough to write an introduction to my upcoming book The Fading Ads of NYC (History Press) 2011. Check out Wm & Margaret’s blog and buy the book!
