Dig out those 2010 Sussex Co sunflower photos OR come on up and take some more! The 2011 sunflower season has begun and two “late bloomer” fields are about to blast the County with more radiant yellow color.
We’re aiming to spread Sussex County’s Sunshine® all across the globe with a Sussex County Sunflower photo contest for print and electronic entries. No fee to enter-photo location needs to be Sussex County but anyone can enter. Professional, Amateur and Digitally Altered photos are being accepted for the Virtual Gallery hosted on http://www.naturallysussex.com AND a print exhibit set to open on November 12, 2011. The exhibit will travel throughout the County spreading some of Sussex County’s Sunshine® for all to enjoy. The 2012 traveling exhibit will begin in January at the County’s nursing facility the Homestead Newton.
