This new series of 16 large (5′ X 6′) paintings explores the difficult and puzzling marital relationship between Sarah and Abraham found in Genesis in the Hebrew Bible.

Set in contemporary terms these narrative paintings scrutinize: monotheism and the goddess, the perils of self-sacrifice, Hagar, the demands of Divine decree and familial tragedy.
