This was my family’s business in New Jersey. At one time there was a chain of over 30 stores, now all gone.

Glad to have captured a piece of your past!

  3. Lived in Passaic for awhile back in the day. Hitsville and the Capital Theater were still standing. And a funky joint called “Blue Castle”.

  4. Lydia Lozano-Lebron says:

Worked for Rogers Clothes from June 1971-August 1975. This was my first job after graduating high school and I have very fond memories of the many people who worked with me in the store. The owners (3 brothers and a brother-in-law) were really wonderful guys!

Wow Lydia, what a great memory to share with us.

A while back I live next door to a guy that was a mgr. of a Rogers store (Hackensack?)…. In any event…his garage was always full of suits, pants, coats…all sizes and colors…. Maybe, just maybe this was one of the reasons that the entire chain went out of business??????

Home of the 2-pants suits! Worked there as a Stock Boy, then salesman in Echelon Mall for Leo Nadler and Don Dudash. Funny stories i can tell. What a great educational experience and sales training!
